NDF, AGF and ITC come together for 3rd in Green Finance series
Green finance conference highlights challenges and opportunities for businesses going green in Ghana.
Together with the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) and the International Trade Centre (ITC), NDF sponsored the 3rd in a series of green finance conferences taking place across Africa in 2017 with an event in Accra, Ghana on 21 November 2017.
The event followed similar events in Nairobi in June and Lusaka in March, also delivered in partnership by the three institutions.
Key discussions among participants focused on creating a conducive environment for green finance, the role of commercial and development finance institution and products and services to meet challenges and opportunities.
Speaking from Helsinki, NDF Managing Director Pasi Hellman said, “the green finance partnership with AGF and ITC sends a strong signal to the financial sector in Africa that the green investment opportunity is real and growing.”
