NDF and African Development Bank strengthen cooperation

NDF has signed an amendment to the co-financing agreement with the African Development Bank in order to promote additional co-financing, particularly in the area of development and climate change. The agreement enhances the general framework for cooperation between the institutions as set up in the co-financing agreement between NDF and AfDB from 1995.

NDF’s managing director Pasi Hellman welcomes the enhanced cooperation. According to him ”The amended agreement reflects better NDF’s current mandate and co-financing modalities and therefore enhances possibilities for cooperation in Africa. It also shows that both institutions are committed to strengthening the cooperation between them.”
