Malena Rosman
Malena Rosman has joined NDF as Director for the Portfolio Origination & Management Department. Malena, who is Swedish by origin, brings 16 years of experience in international development cooperation, from management and advisory positions in Sida and UNDP (2020-2023). Her focus has been development finance, market development and catalysing of private sector investments for the SDGs, being based in Stockholm, Dar es Salaam and New York. Her earlier career was in financial management and business support functions in the IT group Tieto, working in Northern Europe and East Asia, and with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Hanna Uusimaa
Hanna has joined us as the new Environmental & Social Safeguards Lead Specialist. Prior to NDF, she has worked at the Asian Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the UN Environment Programme, and bilateral development projects, on climate change and disaster risk finance, natural resource management, and more recently policy and business process development. She brings around 20 years of experience from working in Asia, Pacific, Africa and Latin America. Hanna holds a Master's degree of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Helsinki.
