Warm welcome to our new Communications Officer
As of 1 October, Ms Eva Beate Strømsted Tuohimaa has joined our team to take up the position of Communications Officer. With extensive communications and media expertise, she will strengthen the visibility of NDF's work.
Eva Beate Strømsted Tuohimaa has joined NDF as a Communications Officer in the Strategy, Outreach, and Communications Department. Eva, who is from Norway, brings versatile experience in journalism, communications, content creation, and the media/PR sector. At her previous workplace, Norway’s leading communications and advertising agency, TRY, she handled external and internal communications, content creation, and PR tasks for all-sized public and private clients. Before the agency, she worked as a journalist with online and print news, radio, video and TV production at companies such as the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), Verdens Gang (VG), and Mastiff TV. She has also worked within the communications departments at the Norwegian Hospitality Association, and at the Norwegian Embassy in Prague. Eva holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway and a master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London in the UK. Eva speaks fluently Norwegian, Russian, and English.
